A Message from your Edge Youth Minister
My name is Carol Wiget and I am the Middle School Youth Minister at OLS! I am the blessed mother to four little boys, Ender, Xavier, Hugo, and Linus, and wife of Dr. Paul Wiget, professor of Organic Chemistry at Samford University. We have been in Birmingham since 2014 and parishioners at OLS since 2015. Some of my favorite things are reading, spending time at the beach, baking, and fantasizing about the zombie apocalypse.
My vision for OLS middle school is to grow a community of faithful Catholics who desire to grow in relationship with the Lord and in fellowship with one another. I also hope to incorporate opportunities to serve the community in order to better live out the principles of Catholic Social Teachings. I look forward to getting to know you and your teen better and journeying with them on the road to sainthood.
